Donna Bunte holds a Masters degree in acupuncture from the Tristate College of Acupuncture in Manhattan and is certified in Chinese Herbal Medicine. She is licensed to practice acupuncture in Connecticut and New York State, and is certified by the National Commission for Certification of Acupuncturists and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). The study of Chinese Medicine includes Chinese theory in diagnosing and treating, individual nutrition plans, weight loss and cleanse programs, herbal medicine, acupuncture, acupressure, moxabustion, (the use of an herb heated over acupuncture points), and cupping. Donna incorporates Japanese meridian and five element theory and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) in her style of acupuncture. Since 1995, Donna has been treating patients with a variety of issues including injury and rehabilitation, women's issues, digestive and stress related disorders and overall health and wellness.
