Dr. Brad Gilden has been practicing orthopedic & sports physical therapy since graduating from New York Medical College in 2000. He has worked in a variety of settings treating patients with various neurological, orthopedic and sports injuries. In 2004, he completed a clinical doctorate in upper quarter & hand therapy from Drexel University. He joined Elite Health Services as a managing partner and rehabilitation coordinator in 2005.
Dr. Gilden follows the approach of a Functional Manual Physical Therapist treating movement dysfunction. His focus is on restoring normal mobility and strength while integrating patients back to their highest level of function. He enjoys working with all diagnoses and has extensive experience treating both pre- and post-surgical patient populations. In 2010, he completed an intensive certification in functional manual therapy through the Institute of Physical Art.
Dr. Gilden has worked with many professional athletes as well as collegiate and recreational. He is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association, as well as the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapy. He lectures throughout the community on injury prevention and ergonomics while promoting a healthy lifestyle. He is training to become faculty with the Institute of Physical Art. He enjoys a multitude of sports and completed his first NYC Marathon in 2008.

Michael Racca is a Licensed Physical Therapist in New York and Connecticut with diverse clinical and management experience in hospital, in-home, and outpatient settings since beginning practice in 1999. He has extensive experience working with patients of a wide variety of diagnoses to help them restore their full potential level of function. He has given community lectures on a variety of topics including back education, total joint replacements, injury prevention, posture, and sports performance. Mike has most recently specialized in treating the post-surgical orthopedic outpatient population and has helped many local students and nationally recognized athletes return to their prior level of competition following injury and surgery. He has worked directly with Orthopaedists, Podiatrists, Pulmonologists, Spine Surgeons, Pain Management Specialists and Primary Care Physicians to insure his patients have a reliable continuum of care.

Mike continues to complete and lab assist progressive continuing education focusing on manual therapy through The Institute of Physical Art and he is pursuing Certification in Functional Manual Therapy. He is also Certified Ergonomics Assessment Specialist through the Back School of Atlanta. He has completed 2 triathlons, is a recreational ski racer, and enjoys fishing and hiking. Mike was formerly a volunteer coach for the West Point Junior Alpine Ski Team and is a Certified Professional Ski Instructor.

David Potucek, MSPT has been practicing orthopedics and sports physical therapy since graduating with a Masters Degree in Physical Therapy from Springfield College in 2004. David has worked in a variety of practice settings, treating a multitude of orthopedic, sports, and neurological patient populations. David joined the Elite Health Services Physical Therapy Team in 2008. David began his career working for the physician owned practice Orthopedic Specialty Group in Fairfield County. He treated a variety of post-operative, sports, neurological and orthopedic patients. David continues to expanded his clinical skills by taking many post-graduate continuing education courses.David has worked as a personal trainer allowing him to further develop his knowledge of exercise based strength training. He was a collegiate athlete participating in gymnastics, which has given him the discipline and insight into what it takes to succeed on a competitive level. David continues to take continuing education courses from the Institute of Physical Art, and from The Center for Integrative Manual Therapy to broaden his manual therapy skills. Some of the manual techniques include Muscle Energy, Strain/Counterstrain, Functional Mobilization and Myofascial Release. In addition, David will be working towards a Doctorate in Physical Therapy this coming year. David is an avid reader of anything related to the health field.

Matt Silvaggio, MSPT has been practicing across a broad scope of physical therapy settings since graduating from Nazareth College of Rochester, NY in 2003. His experience has been shaped by working in acute rehabilitation, home health, orthopedic private practice as well as sports medicine settings. This includes working for Howard Head Sports Medicine and working directly with the physicians of Steadman Hawkins Orthopedics in Vail, CO where he provided Physical Therapy services to athletes and patient’s from around the world. Through full time positions as well as contract work as a traveling physical therapist, Matt has been fortunate enough to perform what he loves doing in places including San Diego and San Francisco, CA, Chicago, IL, Vail, CO, South Hampton, NY and West Palm Beach, FL to name a few. Through these experiences along with a constant commitment to professional growth and excellence, he brings his experience and enthusiasm to the Elite Health Services Physical Therapy team.

The foundation for Matt’s physical therapy practice comes from the Institute of Physical Art. In August of 2012, Matt earned the prestigious CFMT, Certified Functional Manual Therapy certification.

Dr. Tara Gibson is thrilled to be joining the Elite Health Services team of physical therapists. This year she will complete her post-doc residency toward her certification as a Functional Manual Therapist under the Institute of Physical Art (IPA). Tara received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2011 from Hunter College in NYC.

During her educational experience she worked with a variety of patient populations ranging from Broadway dancers to geriatrics. She just completed another post-doc 9-month residency at Kaiser Foundation Rehabilitation Center in Vallejo, CA where she studied and applied the PNF philosophy to complex neurological patients with conditions such as stroke, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's Disease, traumatic brain injury, and spinal cord injury. She is recognized by the International PNF Association as a certified PNF therapist.

Before becoming a PT, Tara worked for 6 years as a private Pilates Instructor in Manhattan and is certified under Romana's Pilates. As an instructor, she worked with individuals of all age groups on an array of apparatus including the reformer, the cadillac, and wunda chair to optimize movement through strength, flexibility, and postural awareness with an emphasis on the muscles around the spine. It is these same principles that led her to continue her post-graduate education (while still a student) with the IPA where the approach to physical therapy is always based on treating the body as a whole and integrated system. Tara practices Yang style Tai Chi Chuan and has trained under masters C.K. Chu in Manhattan and Peter Davis, PhD in Sonoma, CA. She also loves to run!

Dr. Tiffany Sudol joined the Elite Health Services team in 2014. As a former Personal Trainer, Dancer, and Dance Teacher, Dr. Sudol has worked extensively with dancers and athletes and brings to us her unique perspective and insight as a Physical Therapist.

Dr. Sudol earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy degree from Hunter College in New York City and her Certification in Functional Manual Therapy credential through the Institute of Physical Arts in Colorado Springs, Colorado in 2015.. While completing her degree she worked as a National Academy of Sports Medicine certified personal trainer, and was an adjunct lecturer at Queensborough Community College in the Health, Physical Education, & Dance department.

Dr. Sudol was born and raised in Champion, Ohio and moved to New York City in 2000 to pursue a career in musical theatre and dance. Some of Dr. Sudol’s previous career highlights include cheering for the NFL, the 2007 Country Music Awards and over 30 music theatre shows including Mamma Mia!, and Camelot with her friend Lou Diamond Phillips.

Dr. Sudol has taught competitive dance and physical education for more than 20 years. Recently, she had the opportunity to present platform presentations on The Performance of Dancer’s on the Y-Balance Test at the Combined Sections Conference for the American Physical Therapy Association as well as at the International Association for Dance Medicine and Science.

During her Physical Therapy internships Dr. Sudol had the opportunity to work with a multitude of diagnoses in the areas of vestibular and chronic dizziness, orthopedics, neurology, oncology, pediatrics, and cardiopulmonary.

Dr. Eric Keene is excited to have joined the Elite Health Services team in 2014 through the Institute of Physical Art’s post-doctorate residency program. Eric earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Long Island University’s Brooklyn Campus where he completed rotations working with varied patient populations from Orthopedic Sports Injuries at the renowned Johnson and Johnson Physical Therapy in Steamboat Springs, Colorado to ICU patients in the Cardiopulmonary Unit at New York Presbyterian. Eric understands the importance of continuing his education and is currently working towards becoming a Certified Functional Manual Therapist. Eric utilizes functional mobilization, PNF, muscle energy, FMS, High Velocity Low Amplitude thrust mobilizations, and strength training to treat the root cause of patient’s pain and dysfunction. He has a passion for empowering his patients to live and compete pain-free.

Eric brings a diverse background to the Elite team from his work in Strength and Conditioning facilities specializing in training hockey players, figure skaters, and soccer players. Eric competed on West Chester University’s Men’s Ice and Roller Hockey teams, the USA Men’s Roller Hockey Team, and is currently learning Brazilian Jiu Jitsu where he resides in Brooklyn. Eric enjoys strength training and hopes to one day fulfill his pipe dream of competing on television’s American Ninja Warrior.  Dr. Eric Keene earned his Certified Funtional Manual Therapist credential in 2015 through the Institue of Physical Art in Colorado Springs, Colorado in 2015

Dr. Janaki Amin joined the Elite Health Services team of physical therapists in 2015, bringing experience with diagnoses in orthopedics, neurology, and cardiopulmonary coming from clinical affiliations ranging from inpatient/outpatient hospital settings to a specialized functional manual therapy clinic in Manhattan (IPA Manhattan). In addition to a developing specialization in pelvic therapy and women's health, Janaki recently presented a research compliation on the "importance of early mobilzation in the ICU" at the Combined Sections Conference for the American Physical Therapy Association.

Janaki is currently pursuing the Certification of Functional Manual Therapy credential though the Institute of Physical Arts in Colorado. Dr. Amin was born and raised in India and Atlanta, GA and moved to New York City in 2010 to advance her education and career. When not treating patients she enjoys social dancing, medical volunteering at marathons, and running sporadic half marathons.
