Steve began his career as a Personal Trainer and Facilities Manger for Cornell Fitness Centers in Ithaca, NY, in 1996. He moved to Fairfield County in 1997 after accepting a Personal Training position with Peak Physique in Greenwich, CT. At Peak Physique, Steve served as Head Trainer from 1998 to 2001. In 2002, he joined Equinox Fitness Clubs, where he quickly moved up the ranks to become a top-tier trainer and had the highest productivity in the Darien, CT, location. Since leaving Equinox, Steve has been working exclusively with his private list of clients in their homes throughout Greenwich. In 2004, he co-founded Elite Health Services LLC with Christos Kantzas. Steve has been training for Iron-man events over the past two years. He completed his first Iron-Man in 2008.

Jon Stellwagen is a managing partner with EHS Tri, a division of Elite Health Services in Old Greenwich CT. Jon is also the president and creator of the Greenwich Triathlon Club (GTC).  Created in 2009 GTC boosts 135 members and is Fairfield County’s largest triathlon club.  Under Jon’s guidance the club is staffed by a full roster of USAT Coaches and conducts multiple workouts per day.  Membership consists of beginner triathletes to Ironman podium finishers.

In 2011 Jon was awarded the position of Race Coordinator for the Stamford KIC IT Triathlon.  2011 saw the best year for the Stamford KIC IT triathlon.  Under Jon’s leadership, the KIC IT Triathlon enjoyed its highest earnings in fundraising, highest participation level and enjoyed the addition of the inaugural Stamford KIC IT Kids Triathlon.

Jon has been a performance coach for 11 years and holds various certifications from many of the nation’s highest regarded organizations, including the National Academy of Sports Medicine and USA Triathlon.  Jon also holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Nutrition from New York University

Formerly a Division I athlete and currently a 13x marathon runner and 3x Ironman Triathlete Jon understands the discipline necessary to compete at the endurance level. His passion is evident to those he works with and he is proud of the 100% completion rate that all his clients enjoy.
