Are personal training sessions done only in-home?
No, we offer in-home/office training as well as training at our new state-of-the-art 6500sqft facility in Old Greenwich, where we also offer physical therapy, golf and triathlon performance, one on one training, small group training, acupuncture and massage therapy.
What can I expect during my first session?
During the first session your trainer will assess you for possible muscle imbalances and gauge your overall physical condition. This process allows your trainer to draft a proper exercise prescription plan that includes your specific fitness goals.
What types of training modalities are used?
Our trainers are highly qualified to handle all aspects of training, including general fitness, weight loss, sport-specific, pilates, yoga, and youth fitness.
Do I need special workout equipment and/or a fitness center in my home?
EHS trainers have enough equipment and implements that can be used to train most clients effectively. However, if there is a specific piece of equipment that will help you reach your training goals faster, our trainers may suggest equipment to be purchased.
Are EHS trainers qualified to work with clients coming off physical therapy?
Our physical therapy program is specifically designed to transition physical therapy patients over to our qualified personal trainers so that they may continue with their maintenence program.
What happens if my trainer is not available for some reason and I want to get workouts in?
Our personal training team works together to help clients achieve their fitness goals. If your personal trainer is unavailable for any reason, he/she will coordinate with another one of our trainers to help accommodate your needs.
