Dr. Brad Gilden Presents During Greenwich Hospital’s Pediatric Grand Rounds

On Thursday, November 17th, Dr. Brad Gilden had the opportunity to present during pediatric grand rounds at Greenwich Hospital to pediatricians from New York and Connecticut.

His topic was Breathing Disturbed Sleep in the pediatric population. He discussed how signs such as snoring and opening mouth breathing can be linked to delays in growth and development along with other side effects such as behavioral problems, weight gain, difficulty concentrating in school, crooked teeth and jaw pain.

Dr. Gilden discussed interventions using manual therapy, myofunctional therapy and behavior modification to improve the child’s airway so they can experience healthy sleep and proper growth and development.
