In my training this week I learned the value of fuel as well as what it means to “hit the wall”.

Up until this point I had been running about 12 miles in distance with no water or food. When I went out for my recent 15 mile run I added Gatorade and felt so much better; however, after the 15 miles I ran about .63 further and at one point looked up and had no idea where I was. I was told that that was “hitting the wall”.
