Anthony Scire joined the Elite Health Services Team this past April and is excited to be working at their new location, EHS Westport, as their first hire. He began his career after an “a-ha” moment 10 years after graduating from San Diego State University in 1993 with a Bachelor degree in Criminal Justice.
Anthony has done a little of everything- the ski bum thing, worked on yachts, salmon fishery in Alaska, bartending, improvisation comedy and interactive educational theater to name a few; and has always had a passion for fitness and movement. Anthony’s passion is more than just helping adults and our youth become physically fit. He seeks to find ways to educate as many people as possible in living healthy, productive lives, guiding them into making small incremental changes that will become big changes in the long term.
Before joining the Elite Health Services Physical Therapy & Sports Performance team, Anthony was the Director of Youth Performance at the Golf Performance Center in Ridgefield, CT where he developed and ran adult and youth strength and conditioning programs 1-on-1, in small and large groups as well as through team training.
Anthony has experience working with all populations, ages 8 and up through college and the adult population. He has worked with all types of developing youth athletes playing golf, football, hockey, and lacrosse, helping them develop their physical capabilities in power, strength, agility, speed, conditioning and mobility.
For over four years Anthony wrote a fitness column for the Norwalk Hour titled; “Focus on Fitness” and was the host for the internet radio, “Youth Movement” on FTNS radio, the world’s first fitness radio show.
