An accomplished athlete and fitness professional, Joe Bonyai comes to Elite Health Services with over 6 years of in-depth knowledge and experience working with a number of varsity college and professional athletes. As an Elite Performance Specialist working across our Westport and Old Greenwich locations, his focus is on return to sport fitness and athletic development.

As a baseball player for four years at Gettysburg College, Joe graduated magna cum laude with a BA in Health Science, and was awarded First Team All-Conference three times; setting the school record for hits in a single season, career hits, and career runs batted in. While completing his Master’s degree in Strength and Conditioning at Springfield College, Joe held the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach position at Springfield and successfully coached 9 varsity teams in a two year period.

Prior to Elite, Joe worked as the Strength and Conditioning coach for the Staten Island Yankees, a minor league affiliate of the New York Yankees, and operated an athletic development training facility in Westchester, New York. Outside of work you will find Joe presenting on fitness at Lehman College, where he currently serves as an Adjunct Lecturer in the Exercise Science department.
